The sister of one of the victims of the Uvalde mass shooting cried out in court after testimony from a deputy who responded to the scene that day on May 24, 2022. The deputy was part of the team that breached the classroom and brought down the shooter. The trial is for Adrian Gonzales, the former school officer now charged with child endangerment and abandonment for his role in the law enforcement response.
